Challenge A global vehicle manufacturer decided to launch a completely new EV platform with related connected services. The company was determined to keep their vehicle launch milestones while simultaneously creating a new connected car platform that would meet future demands for reliability, quality and sustainability. Central to this challenge was establishing a more agile way of working and launching a large number of vehicles across several brands. Solution To achieve the company’s goal, WirelessCar provided dedicated teams with automotive software expertise that could drive the solution and architecture. These DevOps teams took responsibility for development, maintenance, and operations. In addition, they collaborated with the customer to establish an agile way of working based on SAFe that was both practical and easy to follow. To achieve the highest quality, we introduced a zero-bug policy as a success factor. Another key part of our customized solution was our introduction of agile development. As the customer’s solution evolved, the need for new services increased, which we could support continuously by scaling up skilled DevOps teams in a fast and reliable manner.
