WirelessCar donates to United Way & Göteborgs Stadsmission

At WirelessCar we know that change starts with each and every one of us. We see it every day in our work and know that it is the only way to create the world we want. To make a difference to people around us at more levels, we are very proud to both support communities worldwide and families in need in our own hometown, Gothenburg, this Christmas. We do this by giving donations to both United Way and Göteborgs Stadsmission.

United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. They aim to create community-based and community-led solutions that strengthen the cornerstones for a good quality of life: education, financial stability and health. Today nearly 1,800 communities across more than 40 countries and territories worldwide are involved and our donations make it possible for more initiatives to be started.

Göteborgs Stadsmission helps families in social and economic vulnerability, especially important in these trying times. With our donation we are contributing to creating better conditions around Christmas for more families, for example by providing them with:

• Bags of groceries and gift certificates in grocery stores
• Winter clothes
• Help with homework
• Lunches

As Martin Rosell, our CEO, put it: “We are so happy to contribute to a more compassionate society and to be able to make a difference to all these families and societies world-wide by helping them secure a stabile foundation to grow from.”
